About the Role
- Plan, coordinate, and manage nursing care services and health education for residents.
- Supervise the care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)/State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs), and other team members.
- Assess resident health and notify physicians of changes in status; develop and implement plans of care.
- Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize resident conditions and prevent complications.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
