Job Summary
We are seeking a critical thinker, skilled communicator, and passionate caregiver to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at The Laurels of Sandy Creek. As a RN, you will have the opportunity to utilize your nursing skills and become a leader in providing high-quality care to seniors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, provide, and manage nursing care, services, and health education to nursing home guests.
- Supervise the care and services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members who care for guests.
- Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status.
- Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care and selecting appropriate interventions to stabilize a guest's condition or prevent complications.
- Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA's) and the development of a plan of care.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
