The Learning Experience in Manassas is looking to add to our management team. We are looking for an Assistant Director with outstanding leadership skills and excellent communication skills who can work alongside the Director to run the daily tasks of the school and ensure the safety and well being of our students and staff.
Our ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in the early childhood field. In addition to creating a nurturing environment for students, the assistant director will oversee the business administration and operations of the center.
Qualifications :
- 2 years minimum
- Demonstrated excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Act in a nondiscriminatory manner
- Strong MS Office and Excel
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with children, parents, staff, vendors
- and upper management
- Ability to communicate in a respectful and clear manner to staff and parents
- Be of sufficient physical, mental and emotional health to perform his or her job duties
- satisfactorily
- Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with
- children, parents, coworkers, clients and management
- Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by the State and
- company regulations and procedures
- Have a valid Virginia Driver’s License
- Mat Trained
- Red Cross First Aid Card (within first 90 days of employment)
- Infant CPR – (within first 90 days of employment)
