Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide support to students with special needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in classroom activities
- Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students
- Assist with classroom management, including maintaining order and discipline
- Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other non-instructional periods
- Assist with the preparation and organization of instructional materials
- Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to assess student progress and development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies and techniques
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
