SUMMARY
Admin Assistant is responsible for supporting daily operations, including administrative tasks & customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Receives daily incoming mail and distributes it to the appropriate individuals.
- Handles all outgoing priority mail items for the agency.
- Takes and transfers phone calls.
- Monitors outgoing facsimiles to make certain they are sent.
- Maintains professional looking agency branches.
- Organizes and monitors office supply rooms.
- Greets and directs clients and visitors.
- Answers, screens, and transfers inbound phone calls.
- Troubleshoots billing issues.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Travel between agency locations regularly.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience: Experience in Customer Service/Sales skills in a corporate environment desirable.
Experience: Technology platforms such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn additional software’s when needed.
SOFT SKILLS
Must be a self-starter with the ability to influence others. Should present effective communication skills through both verbal and written communication. Excellent customer communication skills as well as time management and ability to prioritize. Ability to be proactive and provide ideas, feedback, and identify needs in the assigned role.

Pay:
$19-$21 an hour depending on experience.
Hours:
20 - 25 hours a week including travel days.
