About the Job:
The Line Up is seeking a driven and organized individual to manage our e-commerce product development team! In this position, you’ll be a driving force behind the product development of custom dance costumes that are sold on our e-commerce platform! You’ll road map project plans, advance your team of designers, and coordinate with the technical design and marketing teams to ensure new dance apparel launches successfully and performs well.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project management – Establish a product roadmap and manage product design calendar while holding team accountable to goals and deadlines.
- Product management – Manage full-cycle product development process: from market research, design, prototype, website listing, to retirement. Collaborate with technical design team to ensure quality of garment design and construction. Engage with merchandising team to review metrics and success/improvement opportunities with product design.
- Design strategy – Coordinate trend and market research efforts with team members to inform product designs. Collaborate with marketing and sales to align product design with marketing efforts and sales goals.
- Lead, Manage, Accountability - Manage department team members in planning and decision-making process, developing employees’ skills and encouraging growth. Seek to improve processes, products, and services.
- Metrics – Establish and meet weekly scorecard metrics, including design, prototype complete, and production-ready goals

About you:
- Planning/Organization – Able to prioritize and plan work activities to achieve department and company goals, use time and team members efficiently, plan for additional resources, and sets goals and objectives.
- Problem Solving- Exceptional ability to think creatively and innovatively within the confines of budget, target market focus, and production feasibility.
- Collaboration – Ability to build strong working relationships, collaborate, and lead the team to find creative solutions.
- Quality – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance, monitors own work to ensure quality.
- Strategy and tactics- Can translate strategic plans to grow web sales and enhance product innovation into concrete actions.
- Software- A full and fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Miro, or design illustration software Adobe Illustrator are a plus but not required.
- Manage People– includes staff in planning and decision-making process, develops employees’ skills and encourages growth, inspires team members, and seeks to improve processes, products, and services.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, or related experience in project management or apparel design.
- Three to Five years of management experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Additional Considerations:
- Wage is dependent on experience. $68,000-$75,000 annual salary
- Hybrid option available to work from home 2 days per week
