Responsibilities
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for managing The Link & Option Center (TLOC) Intake Department. The Intake Coordinator ensure that TLOC Policies and Procedures are followed and that initial assessments with diagnosis with clients are complete and accurate. The Intake Coordinator is also responsible for managing the Intake Department and providing supervision for Intake staff.
- Provides general oversight for the Intake Department.
- Conducts a weekly review of new admissions to ensure accuracy and completeness of information
- Ensure that intake documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with TLOC established policy.
- Monitors intake staff documentation for accuracy and appropriateness based upon TLOC standards.
- Conducts weekly supervision of Intake Staff.
- Develops and maintains compliance with intake protocols and flow.
- Provides staff training as indicated by data trends.
- Collaborates with Director of Clinical Operations to develop and review intake policies and procedures.
- Ensures that Intake department productivity standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Must meet criteria for qualification as a QMHP under IL. Administrative Code Rule 132. LPHA preferred.
- Master's degree in behavioral health related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of JACHO accreditation standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IL Administrative Rules 132, 140, 2060.
- High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people including clients, staff, and others.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other departments within TLOC.
- Ability to make appropriate, informed decisions.
- Ability to multi-task, complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional discretion and adherence to confidentiality.
- Must be culturally competent, empathetic, and able to interact and develop rapport with diverse populations.
