We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a People Operations Associate. This full-time, in-office position reports to the Director of Operations. He/she should have prior experience of thriving in an office environment. Multitasking and the unique ability to deftly handle the unexpected are essential qualities to bring to the position. As a key position on our Business Operations team, this role leads the on-boarding and training for our employees, independent travel affiliates, and remote sales support team and is responsible for the day-to-day management of our remote support team. In this role, you'll ensure new team members integrate smoothly, manage training materials and documentation, and provide ongoing support for people operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the recruitment process for staff and remote sales support positions by creating job descriptions, posting openings, conducting phone screenings, and coordinating candidate evaluations.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new team members by overseeing operational aspects such as scheduling, credential setup, and collaborating with the IT team for equipment procurement and installation.
  • Conduct training sessions on Local Foreigner’s Salesforce based CRM and standard Itinerary-Building processes, equipping new hires with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Create and maintain relevant training documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and learning modules, to keep pace with evolving systems and processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all CRM-related inquiries, providing timely responses and directing complex issues to the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Help manage the company calendars to make sure HR-related events and deadlines are clearly communicated and tracked.
  • Manage the remote sales support team by conducting monthly one-on-one check-ins and bi-monthly team calls. Oversee administrative tasks such as reviewing invoices, approving time off, and handling other team-related responsibilities. 
  • Conduct weekly quality reviews of data entry in the CRM to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards
  • Manage employee and sales support team leave request process, always ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Support the offboarding process by ensuring proper documentation and system updates are completed.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, along with 2 years’ experience in People Operations, HR, or administrative roles within fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce, Jira, and Confluence experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Proactive and resourceful with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a process-oriented mindset, including experience creating and maintaining process documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Team player who can effectively adapt to a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively.


COMPENSATION

  • $70,000 per year
