Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday
Location: Onsite - 1333 S. Kirkwood Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63122
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Organization Profile
The Department of Human Resources provides leadership to the Human Resources function in service to church workers at the international center and those throughout Synod. Not only is this department concerned with assisting in attracting high quality people to staff positions within all units of the Synod but also concerned with creating an environment that is caring and supportive of their needs so that they may give their most effective service to the Lord and to the Synod. Special attention is given to training, coaching, and consultation with supervision and management who are primarily responsible for creating and maintaining a caring environment. It coordinates the development and administration of personnel policies, procedures and supporting systems within and between all boards, commissions, departments and agencies of the Synod.

- Reports to the LCMS HR Manager
- The HR Internship will focus on the following areas:
- Research related to regulations and Human Resources practices
- Project management
- Employee engagement
- Talent acquisition
- Compliance and development activities.
- Work with metrics and data management
- Human Resources or related degree paths are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
