The Marlin Alliance, Inc. is seeking a Computer Technical Representative / IT Specialist in San Diego, CA. The candidate will provide information technology and administrative support to our Navy customer.
Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance, Inc. provides transformation consulting, professional services, and technical support to government, military, healthcare, telecommunications, and utility industry clients.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Supporting the CTRs with revising, reviewing, and/or routing inputs to respond to the data calls in the form of impact statements, spreadsheet updates, and emails as it pertains to the Ordering system.
- Escalate necessary tickets and ensure CTR is aware of escalation. Act as point person for escalation issues to appropriate team to resolve.
- Familiarity with NET Support with respect to NET MACs, NET Buildouts, and Information Assurance processes
- Performing routine acquisition and risk related events and reports in the specified template or format assessing the data for acquisition implications with statutory and regulatory (or policy) requirements and program/project execution risks.
- Analyzing and providing recommendations for potential changes to existing acquisition related policy, guidance, and directives, including assessment of the impact on existing programs and projects
- Coordinating and monitoring of acquisition and program transition issues.
- Managing Commands services and infrastructure requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to learn the requirements for
tracking the full life cycle of thousands of services (requirement gathering, ordering, funding, delivery coordination and invoicing). - Accountable and prioritize tasks to meet Command deadlines for
Task Order Management (New orders, Period of Performance extension, Rollovers, etc.) - Responsible for Commands NMCI services tracking and maintaining accurate records, IT Ops Inventory.
- Providing instruction/Guidance to Command ACTRs.
- Coordinate special NMCI Activities (Seat Refresh, service ordering, service termination, etc.).
- Ability to understand IT procurement contracts and Govt/vendor contract business rules
- Ability to understand the different roles of ACTR, CTR, and IT Approvers during the Order to Delivery (OTD) cycle.
- Effectively communicate with various Functional Areas,
Vendors, Department Heads, Lead CTR and IT Operations Team, and ACTRs. - Attend and/or facilitate required meetings.
- Ability to utilize various tools required for Service Ordering and Delivery.
- Ability to initiate and feedback for process improvements.
- Take ownership and drive initiatives to improve process and development of job responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three or more years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite (Access,
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). - Excellent workload management, interpersonal, oral and written communications, and proofreading and editing skills.
- An active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant in a C-Level setting.
- Navy experience.
