About the Job:Fit Franchise Brands, a franchisor of fitness facilities nationwide, is seeking an exceptional Accounting Manager to lead our financial department towards operational excellence and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting tasks, oversee financial reporting, and play a crucial role in budgeting and forecasting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a financial professional who excels in a collaborative environment and is committed to driving financial stability and growth.What You’ll Do:
- Perform accurate recordkeeping and monthly reconciliations, as well as prepare timely and detailed reports and financial records, for all corporate entities within Fit Franchise Brands;
- Forecasting and budgeting analyses for both corporate entities and company held franchise locations;
- Retain constant awareness of the Company’s financial position, and provide information to the CEO on a regular cadence;
- Responsible for all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for corporate entities;
- Responsible for the management of the annual independent audit for all entities, and coordinate with the auditors for timely completion of the audit reports and tax returns;
- Sales and use tax filings;
- Oversee the bookkeeping department at Fit Franchise Brands, whereby the books and records are maintained for individual franchise locations;
- Responsible for HR functions, including payroll processing, employee benefits, onboarding new hires, and other HR related tasks;
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to structured agreements;
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Accounting Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Superb communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently, with little oversight
- Proficient use of MS Office and QuickBooks Online; an enhanced understanding of MS Excel is a plus
