Front Desk Concierge - Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Front Desk Concierge Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greets all visitors entering Community in a courteous, warm, and professional manner
- Answers incoming telephone calls in a cheerful and marketing oriented way, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answers general questions about the community and provides callers with address, directions, and other information and refers other specific questions to appropriate staff.
- Provides informational brochures and packets as requested and ensures proper referrals are made to the sales team
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Coordinates guestroom reservations.
- Maintains current list of residents who are hospitalized, on vacation or who have passed.
- Distributes written communication, accepts and signs for deliveries (mail, prescriptions, etc.).
- Collects rent checks from residents and family members and provides needed information to bookkeeping for billing.
- Checks in visitors, vendors and 3rd party providers
- Assists with scheduling transportation requests from residents
- Participates in resident events and other functions hosted by the Community
- Ensures that the reception and main lobby areas are clean, hospitable, and inviting.
- Possess and maintain knowledge of the community, its benefits, service provided, the residents and associates
- Be able to assist the Lifestyles Director and Concierge Supervisor with inquiries when necessary.
- When interacting with residents and/or family members, is mindful of the Residents’ Rights to Privacy
- Assists with preparing community brochure packets when necessary and keeps an ample supply at the reception area
- Keeps interaction with co-workers to a minimum maintaining professionalism in lobby area
- Assist the community Directors and/or other departments with additional administrative duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain packages, label packages, and organize mailroom.
- Assist with providing shopping carts and luggage carts, as needed, to guests and residents.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
