Job Summary
The Medrala Law Firm, a boutique civil litigation firm specializing in personal injury, employment, real estate, business, and entertainment law is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal matters, including research, document review, and case preparation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the legal field while contributing to meaningful work. This is a position with the potential to turn into an associate attorney with our firm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw
• Analyze case law and statutes to support litigation efforts.
• Assist in document review and preparation for court filings.
• Draft legal documents, including memos, briefs, and pleadings.
• Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and litigation processes.
• Support general counsel with fraud prevention detection initiatives.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation for easy access and reference.

Experience

• Previous experience in legal research and litigation is required.
• Familiarity with Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• A keen interest in litigation and general counsel activities.
