What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server / Food Expediter @ Private Country Club position at The Mill River Club?
HIRING IMMEDIATELY
SERVERS - Takes orders and serves food/beverages to members and guests. Responsible for all aspects of professional food service and guest satisfaction.
- Welcome members & take food and beverage orders, enter orders into POS system.
- Provide outstanding service to our members and their guests.
- Properly mark tables for each course in advance of food delivery. (Steak knives, soup/dessert spoon etc.)
- Maintain control of your tables, firing tickets appropriately.
- Monitor and observe members dining experience ensuring they are satisfied with the food and service.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow co-workers as situations arise.
- Be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Perform calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Fine dining experience is preferred but will train potential candidate with a desire to learn.
- Punctuality and a good attendance record are expected.
Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of dining room and service, procedures and functions.
- Ability to operate JONAS point of sales system. (Willing to train).
- Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
- Have positive attitude and work in a team.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full time, Part time & Temporary
Pay: $17 - $19 per hour
