Commercial Construction Project Superintendent
We are currently seeking a full-time Superintendent to join our team.
Qualifications:
5 years of commercial construction experience required.
Supervision of construction to ensure the project is in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Knowledge of site safety and health guidelines.
Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, submittals, inspection reports, etc.
In-depth understanding of construction process.
Excellent communication skills with Project Manager, Clients, Architects, Subcontractors, and Vendors.
Experience in creating and maintaining schedules.
Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office
OSHA 30
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules, phasing and look-a-heads.
Schedule all trades and manpower for efficient work flow.
Attend job-site meetings as required.
Coordinate all required inspections.
Hold weekly jobsite safety meetings.
Work with project manager to provide direction, requirements, and timelines to complete the project on-time and within budget.
Responsible for project set-up including temp power and utilities, staging areas, jobsite office, signage, dumpsters, safety equipment, etc.
Positive leadership ability.
Timely response to Project Management, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Owners on all project issues.
Review all submittals that they are in compliance with contract requirements.
Review all change order requests prior to submittal.
Review and respond to all RFI requests.
Ensure a safe, clean and accident-free jobsite.
Timely and thorough documentation of all incidents.
Salary Commensurate with Experience
