Summary of Job Description:
Incumbent in this position facilitates all events and activities developed for Tribal community participants of the seasonal recreation programs; provides safe and timely care to the children.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated understanding of group dynamics and conflict resolution
- High School Diploma or equivalent
~AND~
- Either higher education in the field of childhood education (or similar field of study) or experience working with school-age children through babysitting, coaching, scouting, etc.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification required (training provided)
- Successful candidate must pass the background check and continue to be eligible for employment in accordance with The Mohegan Tribe’s Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Policy
- Must be at least 18 years old
