We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and administering the company's compensation programs and employee benefits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while supporting our commitment to employee well-being and competitive total rewards.
Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day operations of compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefit offerings
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure pay scales and benefits remain competitive
- Support annual compensation review processes and merit increase cycles
- Prepare and analyze compensation and benefits reports for management
- Assist with annual benefits renewal process and open enrollment periods
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate employee records and benefit plan documentation
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and benefit providers
- Support HR initiatives related to total rewards and employee experience
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of benefit plans, compensation structures, and related compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration platforms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or CCP certification
- Experience with compensation survey data analysis
- Knowledge of payroll processing systems
- Experience conducting compensation benchmarking
