About The Opportunity
A global leader in data-driven medicine is seeking a Senior Human Resources Associate to support its North American HR operations during a maternity leave coverage. You'll work directly with the Director of HR Operations, U.S.-based HR Business Partner, and global HR teams in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding and offboarding, including contract generation, documentation, and e-filing
- Maintain accurate employee records and respond to employee inquiries
- Support changes in organizational structure, job descriptions, and legal compliance
- Administer U.S. employee benefits (health plans, 401k, leave of absence coordination)
- Support HR project work and internal audits as needed
- Oversee biweekly, multi-state payroll processing for ~70 salaried employees and interns via Paylocity
- Maintain internal payroll controls and ensure timely processing of bonuses, merit increases, commissions, etc.
- Serve as main point of contact for payroll and benefit-related employee inquiries
- Collaborate with payroll provider and internal teams to resolve tax and compliance matters
- 3 years of HR/People Operations and payroll experience, ideally in a multi-state and/or international company
- Hands-on experience with Paylocity, Employee Navigator, and Workday
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and employee lifecycle management
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
