Location: Chesterfield, NJ Start date: January (flexible start date) Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm Salary: $30hr to $35hr Child: 4-month-old baby Benefits: 40 guaranteed hours per week, 2 weeks paid vacation, federal holidays, and sick days Duties and responsibilities Following the baby’s sleep schedule and ensuring they get enough naps throughout the day Encouraging developmental milestones by helping the baby reach for toys, roll over, or sit with support Providing age-appropriate sensory stimulation such as tummy time, showing contrasting patterns, or reading aloud Keeping parents updated on the baby’s routine, mood, and development Washing baby bottles, doing the baby’s laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment in the baby’s nursery or play area Feeding the baby and changing diapers as needed Taking the baby on daily walks in the stroller, ensuring they are dressed appropriately for the weather Requirements Legally authorized to work in the US A minimum of 5 years of paid nanny experience caring for infants and toddlers CPR and First Aid Certified Should live within 30 minutes Pet friendly (2 dogs) Willing to commit long-term ( 2-years minimum) Be Covid vaccinated (or willing to get it) Be TDAP and Flu vaccinated (or willing to get it) Ability to go up and down the stairs since the baby's room is located on the second floor
