A wonderful family in Boulder is seeking an experienced and engaging manny/nanny to provide exceptional care for their two active and curious children (ages 8 & 9). Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Care & Supervision – This is a screen-free home and the family seeks a nanny who fosters engagement through outdoor activities, and hands-on learning.
- Learning & Development – Support schoolwork, problem-solving, and creativity.
- School Pickups & Activity Transportation – A safe and confident driver is required; a family car is provided.
- Healthy Meal & Snack Prep – Prepare simple, nutritious meals.
- Household Support – Organize children's spaces, manage laundry, and assist with grocery shopping while children are at school.
- Emotional & Social Development – Encourage independence, kindness, and sibling cooperation.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has 5 years of nanny experience and strong references.
- Is calm, organized, and proactive, balancing structure with warmth and fun.
- Communicates effectively and collaborates well with parents.
- Enjoys outdoor activities, creative play, and fostering curiosity.
- Holds CPR & First Aid certification (or is willing to obtain).
- Has a clean driving record and is comfortable driving children.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Is able to legally work in the USA.
- Candidate will be required to sign an NDA
- The family would love to find someone fluent in both English and German, but fluency in German is not required for the position.
Schedule:
- Monday 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM (flexible to 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Thursday & Friday: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM (flexible to 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
- (one late evening per week to be agreed upon in advance)
Compensation & Benefits:
- $35/hr with guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Paid vacation 1 week of nannies choosing and 1 week of families choosing.
- Health insurance stipend: $200
- $3000 bonus after two years of employment in addition to raises and holiday bonuses.
