Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of the facility. Experience in housekeeping management, hotel settings, or custodial work is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
- Manage floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens as needed.
- Follow established protocols for cleaning and sanitization to ensure guest safety.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or hospitality is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Must be able to stand/walk majority of shift and withstand the desert heat
- Must be able to pass a background check
