Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team at our headquarters in Hawthorne, NJ. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch service, handling inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and maintain strong relationships will be key to success in this role.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and timely manner.
- Assisting customers with product questions, order processing, and troubleshooting.
- Handling returns, exchanges, and warranty claims efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and updating our CRM (HubSpot).
- Collaborating with the sales team to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Providing support for trade shows and events when needed.
- Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize customer engagement.
A Day in the Life:
- Start your day by reviewing inquiries and prioritizing responses.
- Daily remote meetings with our sales and marketing teams.
- Engage with customers via various communication channels, resolving issues and providing product recommendations.
- Process orders and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
- Update CRM records and maintain detailed notes for follow-ups.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to address any customer concerns.
- End your day by reviewing pending issues and planning for the next day’s tasks.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 1-3 years of customer service experience (bonus points if it’s in the golf industry or e-commerce).
- A passion for golf and sports, with a basic understanding of golf-related products.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to seasonal business needs.
