We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and flexible candidate to join our hepatology research team as a Clinical Trials Assistant based at the Freeman Hospital.
This post would suit an individual with a patient facing background who is keen to develop their career, gaining new practical skills and knowledge in research.
The post holder will work within the clinical research nurse team assisting with the delivery of commercial research and NIHR portfolio adopted studies. You will need to be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, and will have the support of senior research personnel with a strong emphasis on professional development.

Main duties of the job
This is a clinical patient facing post, which requires a dynamic individual who can work both individually and as part of a team. We offer patients and their families the opportunity to participate in research studies that they are eligible for.
It is essential that the post holder has healthcare experience and previous experience of phlebotomy would be beneficial.
Along with the relevant and appropriate experience you will need to demonstrate initiative, excellent communication skills, good time management and an interest in full programme of induction and ongoing support will be provided to the successful candidate who will have the opportunity to facilitate the delivery of research studies within the hepatology speciality.
