Social Media and Content Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and creative Social Media and Content Manager to
oversee our social media presence and manage content creation across all platforms.
This role combines the responsibilities of a Social Media Manager and Content Editor,
making it ideal for someone who is both strategic and detail-oriented. You will be
responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating and curating
content, and ensuring all communications align with our brand voice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to drive engagement and
brand awareness.
- Create, edit, and curate high-quality content (text, image, and video) for daily posting
across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor and respond to social media conversations, fostering community engagement.
- Design static and animated digital designs for use on social media platforms
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and consistency before publishing.
- Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely posting of all content.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, adjusting content and social media strategies
based on insights.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and platform updates.
- Optimize content for SEO and ensure posts meet social media platform best practices.
Required Editing Platform Experience:
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for
designing digital media.
- Years of experience using video editing software (ie: Final Cut Pro, Adobe
Premiere Pro, Capcut) for creating and editing video content.
- Proficiency with social media scheduling tools ( ie. Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite
to manage posts and track performance.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Yoast) for optimizing
content and tracking engagement.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or equivalent degree in related field
- Proven experience in social media management and content editing.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms.
- Ability to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
- Familiarity with editing platforms and tools for creating visual and video content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced
environment.
- Strong analytical skills to track performance and adjust strategies for optimal results.
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
