Scope of Position
Responsible for partnering with executive leaders (i.e., the HRO Coordination Team) to facilitate deployment of High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles and practices across the OSUWMC continuum of care (acute to ambulatory). This includes developing, coordinating, and executing within the agreed upon infrastructure and governance to establish and sustain OSUWMC as an HRO.
Position Summary
The Change Management Senior Consultant leverages clinical, project management, and lean six sigma expertise to assist the HRO Coordination Team in executing the prioritized strategic vision to become a high reliability organization (HRO) in alignment with the Exceptional Care Initiative of Impact 2035. The Change Management Senior Consultant will be involved in project management (tracking milestones and managing dependencies), prioritization, and coordinating the design, implementation, and infrastructure to establish and sustain the OSUWMC as an HRO. Position Summary

The Change Management Senior Consultant will be involved in project management (tracking milestones and managing dependencies), prioritization, and coordinating the design, implementation, and infrastructure to establish and sustain the OSUWMC as an HRO. The infrastructure will include but is not limited to:
- A new safety reporting system
- An evidence-based event review/root cause analysis process
- HRO training/education
- Provider engagement
- Masters degree in health care administration (MHA), operational excellence (MBOE), business administration (MBA) or related field
- 6 years of experience in a clinical setting with demonstrated expertise in areas of health care quality, safety and/or performance improvement
- Demonstrates or has a background in lean six sigma and project management
- Proven track record of longitudinal multidisciplinary project implementation and ongoing management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates the ability to balance and coordinate numerous priorities while demonstrating the qualities of trust, teamwork and transparency.
- Possesses the competencies to lead and influence operational and clinical processes, systems, and outcomes in an unbiased manner.
- Demonstrated the ability to work well in an environment with changing priorities and to work well independently and as a part of a team.
- The Change Management Senior Consultant will be articulate, self-motivated, able to act independently when appropriate, enthusiastic, collaborative, possess a mindset for change
