US law firm is seeking an Equity and Engagement (E&E) Coordinator to be based in either their New York or Washington D.C. office.
A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a law firm environment. Experience with viAderant, Excel, and/or Survey Monkey a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Serve, under the direction of the Professional Development and Engagement Manager, as an “administrator” of the Firm’s E&E Committee by supporting, collaborating, and driving the Committee’s work; provide observations, input, support, and guidance on engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging issues at the Firm; engage in open conversations with the Committee regarding projects, priorities, and tasks; operationalize approved projects; and collaborate with Committee members and leadership to determine how best to measure results.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to equity and engagement.
- Coordinate the Firm’s associate mentoring program under the direction of the Professional Development and Engagement Manager.
- Assist with integrating Firm values into the onboarding of new employees.
- Assist with curriculum planning and scheduling and logistics for internal E&E–related training and provide day-of support.
- Attend department meetings as well as other administrative planning meetings and provide related notes to facilitate appropriate coordination.
- Update the Firm’s Intranet page with E&E–related resources.
- Respond actively, thoroughly, and courteously to internal and external requests.
- Provide support for additional projects as needed; proactively assume other duties as necessary.

- Education and Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a law firm environment. Experience with viAderant, Excel, and/or Survey Monkey a plus.

- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary : $62,400 - $79,000
