Dietary Manager
The Orchards at Lapeer, located in Lapeer, MI is currently seeking a dietary manager to join our team.
Dietary Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily food service operations in our hospital
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff members
- Instruct staff on how to create the meals that you design
- Maintain the inventory of our kitchens
- Establish a budget and work within its confines
- Ensure that meals are prepared and delivered in sanitary ways
- Create and manage the kitchen staff schedule
Dietary Manager Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in dietary management or a related field is preferred
- Dietary manager certification
- Previous experience in food services (management experience preferred)
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to meet the dietary needs of our diverse population of patients
