We are seeking a part-time Emergency Preparedness Coordinator to join the Risk Management team by supporting the organizational strategic goals and objectives related to clinical risk management and patient safety. You will work with clinical, operational, and technology teams who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
The Emergency Preparedness Coordinator directs emergency preparedness activities and facilitates the Emergency Management Committee that oversees the Emergency Management Program (EMP) program. The Emergency Preparedness Coordinator will be responsible for identifying various potential hazards and risks that may arise in the event of an emergency, ensures emergency practices and training are being completed, managing the TOC-wide EMP, responsible for support and maintenance of TOC’s mass notification system, ensures Safety & Policy Compliance and develops distributes, and maintains emergency communication tools. Additional duties will include providing excellent customer service to all external and internal customers, communicating effectively and professionally, and promoting a successful work environment. This position will require to a second location periodically. Hybrid/Remote work available once training and expectations are met.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday (Five days a week, 4 hours a day, within the work hours 8:00 am-5:00pm (can be flexible)).
Starting pay range, based on experience: $30.30-$41.00 per hour.
Medical, Vision and Rx Insurance is 50% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an emergency management field, such as law enforcement, fire safety, or military service, is required.
- Certification as an Emergency Manager (CEM), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or related certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency management systems is preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, and possess great interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly to patients, staff, and physicians.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
