We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Advice Medical Assistant to join our Gastroenterology South Division clinic located in Oregon City. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and customer-focused work ethic.
This position is primarily a phone-based medical assistant position that performs prescription refills and medication prior authorizations, answers incoming patient phone calls on our procedure prep line, and performs other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of previous medical assistant experience, is team-oriented, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Remote/Hybrid work is available when training is completed and expectations are met. Our hybrid rotation is 50%: one week onsite, one week at home.
Workdays will be Monday through Friday (8:00am-5:00pm) or 4 ten-hour shifts with a day off—TBD (7:00am–5:30pm).

Hiring Pay Based On Open Position, Experience, And Credentials
- Level I: $24.18-$32.72
- Level II: $26.60-$35.99
- Level III: $29.26-$39.59
Medical, Vision and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification through a national agency such as NCCT or AAMA is required.
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
- Minimum of 2 years of MA experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with EMR is preferred. EPIC experience is a plus!
- Excellent phone skills and customer service skills.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
