Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk to join our team at The Pathmaker Hotel, a new boutique hotel located in Bar Harbor. This role requires someone who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. We are looking to fill shifts for the morning, evening, and overnight.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in/check-out guests in a friendly, efficient manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities, Bar Harbor attractions, and services.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Process reservations and manage room assignments.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, room availability, and payments.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are tidy and well-organized at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Assist with any other administrative tasks as required by the hotel management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with hotel management software (preferred, but not required).
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
