Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality Montessori instruction to students aged 2.5-6 years old
- Assist with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure student success
Requirements
- American Montessori Society (AMS) or Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) certification for ages 2.5-6 or other MACTE credentialed Montessori certification
- At least one year of experience working in a Montessori classroom
- BA in any field, Early Childhood Education preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift a child approximately 40 lbs. several times daily if needed
- Physical ability to sit on the floor with children when needed
