JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
The Office of Access and Equity in the College of Agricultural Sciences is seeking a Director of Access and Community Engagement Strategies .

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Development and leadership of initiatives related to ensuring access and a welcoming study and work environment in the college, including :
Development and evaluation of strategies to enhance Extension programs engagement with under-served communities, including :
Education and Experience :
This position will be filled at the level of Intermediate Professional or Advanced Support , depending on the final applicant's experience and education. The Intermediate Professional level requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree and one or more years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master degree is preferred. Additional education and / or experience are required for higher-level positions.

This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Access and Equity.
This position requires the following clearances :
PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to clearances.
Work Arrangements :
This position requires the successful candidate to work in person and on campus.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is : $51,000.00 - $81,500.00.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
