Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee financial
operations, including accounts receivable, credit, and ERP transition support during our ongoing shift from
manual processes to a new ERP system. This role will focus on ensuring smooth financial operations
while contributing to the development of efficient processes to support the company's growth.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, experience with accounts receivable and credit
management, and the ability to support ERP implementation. While a CPA is not required, a solid
background in accounting and financial analysis is essential.
General Accounting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Analyze financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Accounts Receivable
Oversee the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Monitor customer accounts to track outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.Work closely with the sales team to resolve disputes and ensure timely collections.Maintain accurate AR aging reports and reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger.Credit Management
Assess and approve credit applications in alignment with company policies.Monitor customer credit limits and manage credit holds.Perform credit risk analysis and provide recommendations for high-risk accounts.Collaborate with customers to develop payment plans as necessary.ERP Transition Support
Assist in the transition from manual accounting processes to a new ERP system.Collaborate with the implementation team to test, troubleshoot, and ensure accurate datamigration.
Develop and document workflows and procedures for ERP-based financial operations.Train staff on ERP system functionality and processes once implemented.Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on AR, credit management, and processimprovement.
Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) is a plus.Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.Proven ability to manage AR processes, assess creditworthiness, and maintain effectivecustomer relationships.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams andexternal stakeholders.
Experience with ERP implementation or transitions is highly desirable.Additional Considerations :
