The Marketing Intern will focus on supporting the Consumer Marketing team, as they leverage the power of The Inquirer’s journalism and seek out new ways to reach and engage consumers via audience development, as well as subscriber acquisition, engagement, and loyalty.

What You’ll Do
- Support and assist in marketing plans for special editorial projects, from note-taking during brainstorming sessions to overseeing execution of tactics, and working with project stakeholders to support key objectives, success criteria, and KPIs for measurement
- Report regularly on marketing project goals and KPIs across platforms, delivering pre- and post-campaign goals for tactics and assist in analyzing performance
- Support in execution of key projects on the Consumer Marketing roadmap by collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining seamless communication, and following the proper processes
- Collaborate on projects that drive both paid subscriptions and individual donations revenue
- Collaborate with marketing managers on SEM and Paid social campaigns for traffic, lead generation, acquisition, and retention
- Execute and manage Marketing Operations tickets for campaigns, including managing deadlines and trafficking assets to respective stakeholders
- Support in any QA opportunities, such as reviewing test email sends or on-site sales
- Assist in keeping the team’s Marketing Calendar up to date and identifying any deployment conflicts or issues
- Assist with invoice processing or outside partner/vendor administrative processes
- Assist with regular updates to our company Intranet on behalf of Consumer Marketing
- Ideally will have a basic understanding of Marketing, especially in the digital field: strategy, tactics, media mix, etc.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple projects at one time
- Maintain a collaborative work atmosphere by communicating effectively with management and peers
- Be comfortable finding, interpreting, and applying reliable data to answer questions, identify gaps and opportunities, and ultimately achieve business goals
