Description:
Join The Pit Rib House family! As the service manager you will be responsible for the daily operations of the entire restaurant. This includes restaurant appearance and presentation, customer experience, professional leadership and direction to all employees.
· Qualifications:
o Experience in serving and managing beer, wine and liquor
o Computer literate
o Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
o Certification and compliance with safe food handling ordinances
o Exhibit high-levels of professionalism in dealing with customers and employees
o Must be self-motivated, results driven, able to handle multiple tasks in in a time sensitive environment, flexible and possess critical thinking abilities.
o College level coursework or a degree a plus
· Responsibilities:
o The manager is responsible for the daily operations of the entire restaurant, including the appearance and presentation, customer experience, professional leadership and direction to all employees
o Touch tables and say hello to everyone and ask how everything is going, converse with guests who want to.
o Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests at all times.
o Providing and directing all front of house training.
o Managing the success and performance of FOH employees, coaching and discipline.
o Managing liquor orders and other front of house supplies.
o Enforcing applicable liquor laws.
o Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending the hiring of FOH staff.
o Creating schedules and directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules.
o Create a comfortable, safe & fun environment by following our core values and operational goals.
o Demonstrate knowledge of the entire food and drink menu.
o Enforce safety and sanitary practices of the entire restaurant.
o Ensure all health inspections meet required state standards.
o Practice and understand safe food management procedures.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
