The Pool Attendant will be responsible for the setup of the pool, assisting guests, folding and setting towels, and keeping the pool area clean.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner
- Be familiar with all standards of performance excellence and adhere to these standards throughout our guests experience
- Escort guests’ to chairs, provide set up assistance/towels and serve water
- Maintain lounge chairs and service stations with towels, infused water and amenities
- Ensure pool deck is clean at all times
- Move towel bins to and from laundry for lounge chair and service station replacement
- Answer any guests questions and/or concerns
- Monitor pool deck for seat availability, service and well-being of guests
- Check side duty list for opening and closing procedures
- Be knowledgeable about The Post Oak and its services
- Collaborate with fellow servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Responsibilities include complying with all federal and state laws, including the FLSA tip regulations regarding tip reporting, sharing, and minimum wage requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Qualifications specific to role
- Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
- Physical demands:
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds
- Stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
