Job Summary: The Production Lead will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, supporting employees, and communicating with various departments such as Tool Room, Purchasing, QA, and Maintenance to guarantee product compliance.Additionally, the successful candidate will troubleshoot press and stamping-related issues, coordinate repairs with outside vendors, and lead die crash investigations.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily production activities to meet job deadlines
- Identify and implement process improvements for cost savings and increased efficiency
- Support all metal stamping department employees and secondary processes
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure product compliance
- Troubleshoot press and stamping-related issues
- Coordinate repairs with outside vendors
- Lead die crash investigations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to pass written and physical forklift test
- Computer literacy and ability to read and write required
- Professional demeanor necessary for interfacing with employees, vendors, and customers
- Strong leadership skills to enforce rules while maintaining relationships
