Transportation Supervisor

Primary Purpose of Position
The Transportation Supervisor works closely with the Front Office Team, Ranch Ambassadors, Management and other departments in coordinating safe transportation of guests, employees, organized luggage collection/delivery and miscellaneous needs throughout the guest visit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Train new employees on how to perform each duty required of them to the highest safety and Forbes standards.
• Create a warm and welcoming environment for guests at every opportunity during their stay, maintaining both Forbes and property standards.
• Professional communication and demeanor.
• Organize and assign drives and drivers for all guest and team transportation.
• Communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner.
• Safely operate company and guest vehicles.
• Accurately communicate with Front Office Manager and applicable departments regarding issues in day-to-day operations.
• Facilitate transportation schedule to and from the Ranch for all guests.
• Maintain transportation manifest for accurate scheduling.
• Collaborate with vehicle maintenance department to ensure Company vehicles are in prime working order and ready for both guest and employee transportation.
• Assist Front Office team in day to day tasks.

Education/Experience

• Clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer Service experience, preferably in luxury hotel setting.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Skills/Equipment

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to adhere to responsible, safe and conscientious driving rules.
• Clear understand of guest inquiries and ability to provide responses in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Maintain concentration and sound judgement under all driving conditions.
• Ensure the security of vehicles and Ranch/ guest property.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent Ranch data.
• Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
