What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge position at The Reeds at Shelter Haven?
The Concierge works with the Guest Services Manager and Front Desk staff to provide exceptional guest service. They support the Front Desk staff and other departments by assisting guest requests. They are responsible for providing guidance as well as making recommendations and maintaining off-property reservations for restaurants, activities, and recreations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain positive relationships with business owners within the community at large.
- Being a part of Concierge team ensuring the best service, knowledge and assistance to guests.
- Maintain detailed notes of area happenings such as festivals, theatre showings, restaurant and bar specials, sporting events, and other cultural events on hand to give meaningful recommendations and accommodations for the hotel guests.
- Stay up to date on all hotel, restaurant, and bar menus and offering in order to make meaningful recommendations and reservations for the hotel guests.
- Assist with all hotel guest amenities are filled in a timely manner.
- Maintain off-property reservations for hotel guests.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Assist guests with mail, messages, and all inquiries.
- Adhere to property specific duties and responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
