Responsibilities:
- Conducting biopsychosocial assessments to determine appropriate level of care for the patient.
- Collaborating with outpatient providers.
- Understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
- Write financial agreements/addendum and review with patient and/or family.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
- When needed, obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies.
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required.
- LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or provisional license required
- Experience working with managed care companies is a plus.
- Prior experience working with eating disorders is highly desired.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Hours: M-F 40 hours per week.
