Responsibilities:

  • Conducting biopsychosocial assessments to determine appropriate level of care for the patient.
  • Collaborating with outpatient providers.
  • Understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
  • Write financial agreements/addendum and review with patient and/or family.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
  • When needed, obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies.

Education, Competencies and Credentials:

  • Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required.
  • LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or provisional license required
  • Experience working with managed care companies is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with eating disorders is highly desired.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Hours: M-F 40 hours per week.
