What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Accountant (Part-time) position at The Resort Group?
Established local Real Estate Developer in the Honolulu/Downtown area is hiring for a part-time accounting position. This position will primarily be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing tasks.
Job Duties:
- Review, code and process AP, including correspondence with vendors
- Produce AR billings
- Process check receipts and record into accounting system
- Maintain proper filing of all accounting records
- File State of Hawaii G45/G49 excise tax returns
- Reconcile bank accounts and various GL accounts
- Tracking and recordation of intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliations
- Various ad-hoc reporting and data entry as requested
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience and understanding of GL
- Experience with Sage 100 or similar software preferred
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
