The Rise School of Corpus Christi is seeking an assistant teacher for a classroom in our preschool facility. We are the city’s first and only school dedicated to early education of children with and without disabilities in an inclusive classroom setting with on-staff speech, occupational, physical, and music therapists. The Rise School of Corpus Christi serves children ages fifteen months to six years of age in an intensive environment of early education and intervention provided to students year-round, five days a week, six hours daily. We boast a state-of-the-art facility equipped with educational technology and wealth of teaching resources. Assistant Teacher Requirements:
An assistant teacher at The Rise School of Corpus Christi is an exemplary educator that possesses high school diploma, college credit hours in early childhood, an associate degree in related field or CDA. Preference is given to a candidate with experience working with special education, early childhood education, and/or a related field. An assistant teacher must demonstrate passion, patience, creativity, flexibility, and respect. Candidate must be punctual and reliable, work well with others, and be self-motivated. All applicants will be required to complete a background check, participate in professional development hours, and complete CPR/First Aid prior to start date.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
