Roeper Summer Programs Exploration Camp Head Counselor
Seasonal Position, June 16 - August 15
Roeper Summer Programs is seeking energetic, responsible individuals for the position of Exploration Camp Head Counselor. Exploration Camp counselors must enjoy working with children ages 3-6 years.
The Roeper Summer Day Camp is located on the Bloomfield Hills campus of The Roeper School. Camp hours are 7:50am to 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday, with the option to work additional hours for extra pay. This is a seasonal position that runs from June 16 to August 15. Camp is closed on July 4.
Head Counselor duties include preparing and delivering quality instruction and programming, supervising campers, and preparing activity plans and supply lists. Counselors participate in all activities with the campers, including the use of the pool.
Eligibility Considerations: High school or General Equivalency Diploma; Meets minimum age requirement of 18 or older for licensed childcare staff members; Childcare and/or camp counselor experience.
