The Romine Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our senior level management, assist with client management, and assist on various data entry client work.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Client Communication: Reach out to clients via phone to gather necessary information, schedule appointments, and provide timely updates.
- New Client Intake: Overseeing new client intake, ensuring all information is collected accurately and timely.
- Tax Return Processing: Assist with processing tax returns and maintaining accurate client files.
- Calendar & Workflow Management: Help manage the daily, weekly, and monthly calendar and workflow to ensure deadlines are met and work is scheduled.
- Data Entry & Client Work: Perform data entry tasks and assist with client work to help enter general information on various projects.
- Project Support: Provide administrative support to upper management on various projects.
- Phone Management: Answer and direct phone calls, handling inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associated degree in accounting, business administration or related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle constructive feedback.
- Highly organized with an acute attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple issues and priorities simultaneously.
- Prior experience in an administrative role is required.
- Some accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
- Advanced level of computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new tools and software.
- Ability to work well with limited direction and take initiative.
- Must maintain reliable and regular attendance.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A team player who is willing to assist in various capacities as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.64 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
