We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading non-profit organization that specializes in building safety, sustainability, and technical compliance services for public and private sector clients. With a strong commitment to enhancing community resilience, disaster recovery, and energy efficiency, this organization is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to spearhead their expansion into federal markets.
About the Role :
This is a pivotal leadership position where you will play a key role in driving business strategy, expanding market reach, and developing new revenue streams within the federal built environment, energy, and infrastructure services sectors. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute a long-term strategic growth plan, leveraging the organization's extensive technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Growth & Business Development :
- Develop and execute long-term and annual growth strategies to expand the organization's presence in federal and other key markets.
- Lead business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and cultivating high-value relationships with key government agencies, contractors, and industry partners.
- Spearhead strategic partnerships, teaming agreements, and new market exploration to enhance service offerings.

Visionary & Strategic Thinker – Able to drive high-level business planning, revenue forecasting, and market positioning efforts.
Established Industry Network – A well-connected leader with strong relationships in the federal infrastructure, built environment, and sustainability sectors.
Data-Driven & Results-Oriented – Ability to develop performance-driven strategies using data analytics, KPIs, and competitive intelligence.
