Responsibilities:
Provide Nurse Case Management and Nursing Delegation functions including 45-day on-site assessments, individual assessment of health status, evaluation of medication administration delivery system to include: Review of Medication Administration Record(s) (MARs) Client Medications, and Physician Medication Order Form(s) (PMOF’s) for individuals needing nursing delegation services.
- On-call coverage for medical/nursing-related matters
- Provide evaluation of competency of Certified Medication Technicians
- New Member Assessments
- Develop initial nursing evaluation and the nursing plan of care
- Available to staff to answer questions concerning medical and/or medication issues
- Perform staff training and retraining as needed/requested
- Consult with Physicians, Family members and or team members, and pharmacy personnel as
Needed/requested:
- Comply with the standards outlined in the Maryland State Board Nurse Practice Act
- Compliance with the Health insurance Portability and Accountability Act
What you will need for this position:
- You have a positive attitude and love working with people!
- A graduate of a state approved school of nursing.
- Active RN license
- Delegating Nurse Certificate
- Minimum of one year of experience in assisted living, hospice, home health, acute or long-term care environment.
