Job Title: ADS Supervisor- Day Program
Position Summary: This position works closely with Operations Manager, Links Ohio, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating all staff at the assigned site. This position has the responsibility for managing staff, and the provision of person-centered service delivery which ensures the health and safety of individuals.
Essential Functions:
- Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates all staff at the assigned site.
- Addresses personnel issues, including staffing and staff accountability, disciplinary actions and coaching and staff development to ensure quality of services to individuals.
- Responsible for exploring new community opportunities (volunteer and employment based). Builds relationships with community members.
- Serves as a key team member for individuals and attends individuals’ meetings and planning sessions.
§ Works with the Service and Support Administrators of the County Boards to coordinate the daily activities, programming, services and recreation at the settings according to the requirements of the Individual Service Plans.
- Completes orientation and training of new staff. Responsible for ongoing staff training.
- Responsible for calendar creation, input data from activity logs, provides written input for IP’s, update Positive Personal Profiles.
- Ensures all billing and service documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Ensures all Unusual Incident Reports and Major Unusual Incidents are reported and documented.
- Monitors vehicle maintenance. Ensures that inspections and maintenance of vehicle are completed.

Bona-fide Occupationally Required Competencies and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology, human services, social services or nursing preferred. Two years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities, with at least one (1) year of supervision and management.
- Displays knowledge of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Department of Medicaid and Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain certification in Medication Administration and Health Related Activities, First Aid, CPR, PMT and other courses as required.
- Must have basic computer and word processing skills. Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License, good driving record and carry the proper liability insurance amounts required by The Society.

Travel: Meetings and site visits within the agency; meetings and seminars outside of the agency
Reports to: Operations Manager - Links Ohio
FLSA Status: Exempt; Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Supervises: Direct Support Professionals
Works with: Individuals, guardians, families, external providers and professionals, nursing, department directors and administrative support staff, maintenance department, program and site management, County Boards of Developmental Disabilities and SSA’s.

Physical demands: While performing duties of the job, employee is required to stand, walk, sit, drive, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Based on results of the Hazard Assessment for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), PPE may be required as outlined in the Infection Prevention and Control Manual and/or the Covid-19 Safety Preparedness and Response Plan. Required PPE may include: gloves, masks, gowns, goggles, face shields and/or N95 respirators.
