We are seeking a detail-driven and analytical Property Management Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of our business while managing accounting processes related to property management. This role requires strong expertise in bank reconciliations, three-way reconciliations, security deposits, financial reporting, and compliance.

This is an in-office position with an expected salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial records, budgeting, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage business finances, owner and tenant transactions, and vendor payments.
- Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoicing.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and three-way reconciliations to maintain compliance.
- Process security deposits, tenant chargebacks, and 1099s at year-end.
- Provide accurate owner statements and ensure timely payments.
- Analyze financial data to offer strategic insights and recommendations.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations, policies, and confidentiality standards.
- Lead and mentor a small team, ensuring efficiency in financial operations.
- Communicate effectively with owners, tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Utilize AppFolio, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite for financial management.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Financial & Administrative Expertise
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial management.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, three-way reconciliations, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in AppFolio (required), along with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Leadership & Communication
- Ability to manage and mentor a team while improving financial workflows.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional engagement with clients, vendors, and team members.
Time & Resource Management
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently and within a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in property management accounting (preferred).
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial transactions and reporting with accuracy.
