Job Description
The Supervisor of Sterile Processing serves as the administrative leader responsible for ensuring department success by implementing the organization's mission, vision, values, and goals.
- Oversee daily sterile processing operations to ensure high-quality care outcomes and regulatory compliance.
- Manage staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, discipline, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as DNV, OSHA, and other governing bodies.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and efficiency.
Key qualifications include 5 years of experience in sterile processing, with 2 years in a supervisory role preferred. A Bachelor's degree and certification in sterile processing are also required.
