This position offers a Trainee Status* at the following pay rate: $21.63 per hour.

The State of New Hampshire, Lottery Commission has a full-time vacancy for Retail Program Coordinator.
Summary:
Proactive program coordinator responsible for overseeing successful planning, execution, evaluation and follow up of keno and retailer programs. Monitors implementation of program policies and procedures, sales, and best practices, keeping internal and external stakeholders informed.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS : Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Two years of professional or paraprofessional experience, with responsibility for planning, monitoring programs, or performing research. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
PREFERRED WORK TRAITS: Excellent writing, editing and communication skills. Strong evaluation and analysis skills, and ability to manage tasks and follow up. High level of knowledge with law making process, legislation, government, as well as interpreting rules and regulations. Knowledge of techniques in program and project management, marketing, and sales. Knowledge of the principles and practices of administration, public personnel administration, government budgeting and general services administration. Knowledge of the principles of computer programming. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to analyze operations and organize component parts into a logical system. Ability to supervise subordinate professional/technical employees. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, associates, agency management officials, electronic equipment manufacturers and professional organizations. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority

Responsibilities:
· Oversees daily operations of programs; set priorities and communicate goals. Creates annual plan in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing unit for promotional activities, marketing assistance, and retailer enhancements.
· Monitors sales and key performance metrics, providing updates to internal stakeholders. Prepares presentations on program status and maintains records pertaining to program activities.
· Conducts outreach to locations, informing them of quarterly sales comparisons and status to annual goal, and documents and shares best practices.
· Collaborates with Licensing and Sales Support unit for annual renewals, removal, or installation of equipment, and communicates with underperforming licensees.
· Researches and monitors legislation for changes and communicates updates with internal and external stakeholders, as applicable.
· Manages communications to municipalities regarding voting opportunities, changes in legislation, and coordination of staff appearances at public meetings.
· Coordinates and organizes regular cadence of agency internal meetings, to include scheduling, creating agenda, taking and distributing notes, and monitoring for action items.
· Communicates with other states to understand best practices and areas of opportunity for selling, promoting and supporting retailers.
· Conducts trainings to staff and retailers, ensure training documentation is up to date. Attends keno promotions, events and meetings with related trade groups, retailers or state stakeholders.
· Assists with other programs and projects as necessary.
